terms of service
Terms and disclaimers
The basis on which we provide our services. Please read the disclaimer about medical services in particular.
The service
We provide remote administrative assistance, customer support, technical assistance and technical or operational problem assessment. Work is agreed in writing before it starts, including what we will do and what it will cost.
Not medical, legal or financial advice
Despite the word "diagnosis" in our name, we are not a healthcare provider and we do not provide medical diagnosis, advice or treatment. We also do not provide legal, tax or financial advice. For those matters, please consult an appropriately qualified professional.
No guaranteed outcome
Problem diagnosis is an assessment based on the information available to us. We give our honest best assessment and recommended next steps, but we cannot guarantee that a problem will be resolved, and we will tell you when specialist help is required.
Your responsibilities
You agree to give us accurate information, to hold the rights or permission needed for any data or accounts you ask us to work with, and to use our service lawfully. Do not send us passwords, banking credentials or identification numbers.
Payment
Fees, scope and payment terms are confirmed in writing for each engagement before work begins. Unless agreed otherwise, invoices are payable on the terms stated on the invoice.
Cancellation
Either of us may end an ongoing engagement with reasonable notice. Work already completed remains payable.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with the service is limited to the fees paid for the work concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Changes
We may update these terms and will publish the current version on this page. Continued use of the service means you accept the version published here.
